• I've got a new unused pair in the boxes of the above, 220grms each. Totally unused, I thought I'd bought the TL version and the shop doesn't accept returns.

  • shop doesn't accept returns.

Is that legal in the UK?

    GLWS.

  • Awesome tires !

  • Ebay shop, they have their own rules!

  • Contact eBay...phone them!

  • I will kick up a fuss then, but in the meantime they are still for sale!

  • You just need to open the case on ebay (no need for a call or email). Mark it as “item doesn’t match the description” and the seller will be forced to accept returns or refund you

  • Cheers remrak I'll do that.

Tyres withdrawn from sale, sorry :)

  • The minor pain now is that I've started a return but as they we not eligible for returns it is a return request where ebay have asked the seller to accept returns. I don't have a viable reason for them 'not matching description'
I'm sure they won't be happy but I'll stand my ground! (Don't know how just yet!!)

  • Distance selling still applies?

  • Did you believe from the description that they were the tubeless version? Do they sell the tubeless version?

  • @remrak Surely the seller will only have to accept the return if they have incorrectly described them as tubeless when they are not?

@shawnb was it an error in the eBay listing or an, er, buyer error?

  • I bought them whilst quaffing a bottle of wine, subsequently I didn't read the description fully so didn't realise they were not the tubeless version. So I feel a bit dishonest trying to get a return. The description doesn't mention them being tubeless and they don't sell the tubeless version.
I don't think it will go my way!

I'll leave them for sale here just in case.....

  • Anyone know what size these come up at on 19mm internal width rims? Might be interested if they'll fit my frame

  • SOLD!!!!

  • Cheers all.....

  • Good for buyers as an item can be return for simply "I changed my mind" reason. And I believe a seller would be forced to accept it.

I didn’t realise that’s @shawnb ordered it by mistake. If so, you can open return request by selecting "I changed my mind" or any other option that suits your case. Though you will have to cover the expenses of postage. Return it by using postage label provided by eBay or seller.

You might be eligible to get your shipping expenses refunded by Paypal if you paid for your items via Paypal. Google: "PayPal Return Shipping on Us"

  • Cheers for the info.
