Wanted: Steel touring frame, 54-55cm

  • I have a friend looking to build a touring bike and wants steel, anything out there vintage or modern. She is on a limited budget.

    Thanks

  • I've got a Dawes Galaxy cromo frame.
The size is a 53, but as I recall it's got quite a long top tube, like 56/57. If it's potentially of interest, I can measure up.

  • I've got this 26 inch wheel kind of MTB touring frame. Top tube effective is 54cm.

  • Hi..I have a Genesis Equilibrium Reynolds 725 medium with carbon forks (includes rear rack but it is a whole bike. How tall is your friend? £350 for everything bar pedals.

According to Genesis: 5'7"-5'11''...i am 5'7".

  • I've got a MK1 Thorn Sherpa; Reynolds 525. I'm 5' 8" and it fits me fine. 5' 6" to 5' 9" would be about the range of it. Whole bike and completely original. Asking @ £450 for it.

  • i've got a 1980's 531 ATB frame and forks. it's freshly power coated black and has a brand new heatset. 132mm rear spacing. Eyelets on the rear for guard and rack but nothing on the front. I'd take £50.
