25mm or 28mm 571/650C tyres

I've just bought my 10yr old grandsonhis first road bike and it's got 23s on it but would like to get a bit wider, I missed out getting some 25mm Kenda's from Halfords at £5 a go which is annoying but if anyone has something cheap they could post to Hertfordshire that would be great.

Only have one tyre but it's a grand prix, 24c (24-571), in very good condition, like new.
