I've got a pair of speakers that aren't seeing any use and I don't really have the space to hold onto them for the minute.

Quad S1 standmounters in Mahogany. Lots of info on the Whathifi review (5*).

From my experience, they require a bit of power behind them to get the best from them. The ribbon tweeter thing makes them sound really fantastic.

I'm based in SE23, would prefer a pick up and of course happy to let you demo. I've got all the packaging and there are no defects (they look new). Purchased from Bartletts Hifi.

fwiw (as I was interested so did a bit of due diligence on price) and the last pair to sell on ebay went for >£100 less than your price, a pair at around your price BIN have been there for the last two months
