FS: Look KG233 56cm

Complete Look KG233 frameset w/ mainly campy 10spd veloce, hpluson with novatec hubs. Columbus brain tubing with loads of flashy chrome. Relatively new modus headset.

On many levels I love this bike (and the attention it attracts), but i don't have the time or patience to bring it back to its full and proper splendour. I have ridden it a lot over the last 2 years, was my winter bike.

Smaller issues; paint pretty scratched (is 30yrs old) but chrome is in good to very good condition. Wheels have some life. Cranks, brakes, cassette, handlebars pretty roughed up.
bigger issues; front wheels stuck in drops, probably needs lots of wd40 etc. Needs new BB bearing.

That's a mad bargain - a light service and it'll be worth double!

These frames are 20 year-old, not 30!

lol. you are right, that would make me mid 40s.

I really like the frame, but it deserves an owner who will treat it better. And I think it is slightly too big.

The price is based on the need for a bit of elbow grease/likely some new drive train parts/need for more space.

Anyone want to take this off my hands for the same money? Since picking it up I’ve swapped the stem out for a 100mm one and freed the front wheel however the qs skewer is bent within the hub and won’t come out so I’ve handed it to a mechanic with the right tools not to damage anything... also swapped out tyres for matching ritchey race comp slicks...

I’ve not replaced the bb bearings as they seemed ok, will need new brake pads though and I’d wanted to put new hoods on it otherwise all in good order
