Vintage Fluoro mountainbike ultimateness

  • There's "dream bikes" and "close to dream bikes". When I started collecting mountainbikes, I thought the dream bikes from my youth would never pop up for sale - and so I bought all the "close to" that came across my path.

I learned it's all just a matter of patience and now the result is that I have more dream bikes than I ever dreamed of...

and that's why some of the "close to" must make place.

The first I'm selling is this iconic 1992 GT Karakoram "Tequila Sunrise". Built in the early nineties but still one of the most wanted mid-to-higher range vintage mountainbikes on the bay. The bikes is almost "catalogue spec", I believe only the tyres changed over time (and I replaced the rusty LX U brake by an XT II).

Looking for 400 € for this bright and brilliant bike.

O, in case you want to ride it: it's an 18". ;)

Ofcourse the bike will be completed before I sell it.

  • Included in the price: the bike comes from the shop where former World Champ an Olympic Silver Medal winner Filip Meirhaeghe grew up as a kid (his father ran the shop). ;-)
