Hits home for me. I was knocked off in a hit and run in south west London on Monday last week and came away with cuts and bruises, it can so easily be much worse. Hoping the best for the rider and I hope they find the driver and get them off the road.

Now being reported as a fatality, sadly. It was a deliberate attack too.

It's just about the worst:
Amrou Greenidge, 18, suffered serious head injuries when he was allegedly deliberately knocked down by a Mini in Fulham on Sunday, before being assaulted as he lay on the ground.
I haven't added anything about the alleged murder to the thread title yet, but will do so if and when the full facts are known and/or the suspects have been convicted.

More on the victim.
I'm sure in due course we'll get an account of some sort of 'motive'. Not looking forward to that.
Ominous news of a hit-and-run:

Whenever riders are described as 'fighting for life', my heart sinks.
Hoping it doesn't become a fatality.
