RIP. This happened at a junction roughly between Battersea and Clapham.
No information on what actually occurred yet, e.g. in which directions the lorry and the rider were going.

Saw the tent in the road as I passed and a cement mixer lorry stopped behind the police cordons. Horrible, horrible news. Deepest sympathies to her family.
@Oliver Schick it was at the junction of Wandsworth Road and Silverthorne Road. Cement mixer was parked just east of the junction facing eastbound on Wandsworth Road. Can't say for certain that it was the vehicle involved, but didn't see any other LGVs. Silverthorne Road has its share of those coming from the depot/works at its northern end.

Update on this:
A lorry driver has pleaded not guilty to killing a cyclist by careless driving.
Stephen Hempenstall, 49, appeared at the Old Bailey on Friday over the death of 29-year-old Italian design student Gionvanna Capiello.
Ms Capiello, who studied at the University of the Arts, London, died after her bicycle collided with a lorry at a junction on Wandsworth Road, Battersea, west London, on July 4 2019.
Hempenstall, of Thornhill Road, Uxbridge, pleaded not guilty to causing her death by careless driving.
Judge Nigel Lickley QC adjourned the case until July 16 for a trial date and venue to be set.
The defendant was granted continued bail. -

Stephen Hempenstall was found guilty of causing death by careless driving at Inner London Crown Court today. Sentencing is in March. RIP Gionvanna Capiello

Thanks. Were you there? I can't find any media reports yet, perhaps tomorrow.
There is an article in a national daily (that I won't link to here) which includes a clear description of how the crash happened (warning, very sad details).
(NB it's Giovanna Cappiello, not Gionvanna Capiello.)

Shocking really for causing the death of another human being. And he will be back on the road again in a year.

Thanks, but again--were you there, at the sentencing this time? I can't find any reports on it on-line.
Sad to report
