• Park Tool CBP-8 Campagnolo Crank & Bearing Tool Set, £50 + Paypal fees and postage sold.

Pleased to say I no longer have any Power Torque cranks in my life so this set is surplus to requirements.

All in good condition. The cardboard tabs to prevent scratching when removing carbon cranks have been used; you can buy these separately or just cut your own using the templates in the box.

Based in Birmingham, collection welcome or can post at cost. UK postage is £5.10 Royal Mail Tracked 48 or £4.95 MyHermes.

  • Wow are they that bad . I am in the market for some new campy cranks , maybe will stick to ultra torque then..

  • Probably a good idea!

I had a bad time removing a pair of carbon PT cranks, ended up with a scratched crank arm and one of the puller tool's jaws bent out of shape. I got a replacement puller from Park (which is the one for sale here).

I'm not ruling out my own ability to butcher bike parts as the problem, but removal seems like a common issue with power torque.

Aluminium PT removal might be more forgiving because you can use the plastic adaptor – less likely for the jaws to slip and dig into the crank.

  • I think the poor quality tool is more the problem than the campagnolo parts. Although ultra torque is a much better design

  • Coool looking tool , thanks for clarification comments ..

  • Terrible system. I’ve used one many times and I still crap myself every time, expecting something to snap, or at least knacker the crank.

  • Do you still have the CBP?
