Steel fork 1" - cheap/beater

Hey,

I am looking for a steel fork with a 1" steerer.
Needs a decent rake, but I have no idea how much decent is (I am trying to avoid toe overlap which I currently have with my current forks).
Needs to be drilled.

Doesn't need to be anything pretty or special, blue would be cool, chrome would be amazing.

What would be the minimum length steerer tube you'd need? And I'm guessing you'll be using it with a 700c wheel- or perhaps instead a 27" one if for an older frame?

Aye, steerer length would help. Have one in black (700c) that might suit providing you don't want it for too big a frame.

Thank you all for your replies. I've decided toe overlap isn't as bad as I initially though. I'm going to stick with my current forks.
