I have just checked the sticker below the machine and it was produced in 2006.
As you can see from the photos, it hasn't had a hard life. I picked it up from a couple in Putney who had it as a wedding gift, used it a little then stored it until they moved. I bought it about 5 years ago and used it a couple of times a year while in France.
It has a french plug but I will locate a UK one this week as they are the 3 prong time like the ones used for monitors or desktops.
You can easily get parts for it or "upgrade" it with PID or other fancy things.
I would say that's a perfect starter machine which pulls a great espresso (once you have dialled in you grinder - I started with a Porlex) .
Don't expect much from the steam wand though! -

I have another Gaggia New Baby 06 in Black for sale! Sold the previous one in the Coffee Thread.
I owned 2x Gaggia Baby and I have just brought this one back from France. It has seen little use.
The only modification was an upgraded shower screen. The rest is original.
It comes with a brand new Brita in-tank filter (not fitted), single & double basket, new spare rubber portafilter gasket, plastic tamper, measuring coffee spoon.
I have just cleaned the machine in/out, including the 3 way solenoid valve which was removed, stripped and cleaned in an ultrasonic cleaner.
Great starter machine!
I was using it with coffee from @StevePeel so would suggest picking his YBCR coffee beans too!
It works well and I am after £75, those were £300 new. SOLD SOLD SOLD
Pick up from New Cross SE14 or could drop off in town with my cargo bike
