I've been near there (ish) - Syvota - and done some riding. Was good.

Look's lovely there! Not really got any transportation so hoping the buses are decent and can go up the coast towards that area.
Wonder if you can rent a boat easily/cheaply from Preveza....

Not 100% sure but the people there are really nice. Some of the guys at my resort said they rode up to Albania, but very quickly turned around and came back(!)

It’s been a while but I’ve been there a handful of times.
It’s a tourism hub (main airport for Levkas etc) so it’s as you would expect in that respect.
You can rent boats there (yachts so presumably motor boats too) as it is a fairly large port.
From the bus station there you can go pretty well anywhere in Greece - Igoumenitsa just up the coast, or as far as Athens.
I’ve always been there as a starting/ending point so don’t know anything useful about the surrounding areas, but I know you can eat well there! -

If you're into that sort of thing, you can visit the ruins of ancient Nicopolis:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nicopolis
Before Rome conquered it, the region as a whole was the southern part of Epiros, famous for its king Pyrrhos, of the proverbial pyrrhic victory.

Ah that's amazing, thank you both for the recommendations, super helpful!
Hey all,
Going to Preveza at the end of the month for a week with my girlfriend, have absolutely no idea what's good to do there other than drink a load of Efes and get very sunburnt, just wondering if anyone here has ever been and could kindly recommend some stuff to do?
Cheers
