Med certificate?

So, signed up for a Euro sportive in July.
Now I need a medical certificate.Seems these are a wee hard to come by as it is of course a potential liability on the Dr and his/her insurance.

What do you people do?

We just went to the local GP and paid £15 or £25 for them when doing the Garda Gran Fondo, the sportive were providing them as well, so maybe worth contacting them to ask if you can get one locally if you have time. A lot of people just fake them as well...

Anything with a stamp will pass muster. Stamps are very cheap on ebay

Events I've done in the past have accepted a valid racing licence as an alternative to medical certificate.
