SOLD! For Sale: Dawes Super Galaxy Touring 531 Reynolds 56cm

For sale smooth dark green Dawes Super Galaxy Touring from the mid 90s..

Frame condition is close to immaculate, no dents and very few chips and scratches, components have some water erosion type of wear, especially spoke ends and rims, some on the stem and left crank arm, thats how I found it (tried to capture it on the pictures).

Bought it without chain nor cabling, so thats all new. Have tried my best to bring it up to speed without overdoing and replacing parts, so all original apart from new tyres which were pretty much dead.

Ditched the mudguards and appendages (rack mounting bla bla) as they were in either bad state, broken and or useless (you can have whats left of them)

Im looking to sell at around 350 O.N.O

Looks interesting. Out of interest, how tall are you? 56cm sounds right but the steerer looks short. 🤔

Your quite right, it does look deceivingly small for a 56. But those are the measurements...Heat tube measures at 13.3 cm if that helps...
I'm 1.70cm, barely :D

I think it might be a touch too small. Shame, it looks like a nice bike. GLW sale.
