Probably the only way / what I’d do is to take enough pictures to be able to get each element into Illustrator and trace, redraw, match colour and then have the artwork printed onto wet transfers. Quite a lot of work judging from all the details but still amazing.

Hmmm yes. I have one like this, but the decals are faded almost to invisible. I am sure that the owner of the one above would be happy to help with more photographs. But as you say, a lot of work!
