Bit more expensive but well worth it,
Ali bars pretty much just fall apart as soon as they see the thing and steel bars don't put up much fight either.

these are bloody brilliant! straight cuts without trying and will do posts and steerers!

Plus you can even use them for plumbing, who knew. !!!!

These can do steerers, bars, seatposts et al, with a nice clean straight cut you say...? A few jobs of that nature need doing, I think an investment might be worthwhile.

Its not something i use daily, but when I do, im glad I have it
I'm a miserly student and for the price of my local bike shops it costs close to getting a new set of bars!
If anyone has any cutting implement for the small job, I'd be grateful
