Right, spring is/was in the air and that means it’s time to crack on with my lightweight summer commuter. I built it up last year based on a loaned Planet X nanolight 54 - Kysirium wheels, Ultegra mech and calipers, chinese riser crabon bars, crosstop levers etc. Very light and a lot of fun. I was using a Shimano Zee crank with a 38 ring, which was a bit industrial and heavy. The frame has gone back so I’m now looking for another frame, and I want to replace the crank too. So what’s the nicest, lightest, BSA-compatible crankset out there that I can use a 40t ring on?
