Oh no worries, I was thinking a 404 error might indicate the address is wrong rather than some pictures not having uploaded yet? Wouldn't that just result in an empty album being shown? Or maybe I'm wrong on that :)

You have to create a sharing link rather than just copying the URL while you're on google photos. The link you've used will only work if you're logged in to your account.
