• Bought this a few months ago with dreams of putting it on my Maxi Sports, just sold that frame because I couldn't bring myself to finish the build 'poorly' and I couldn't afford a wheelset etc for it...

When I bought it the Controller (shifter) was NOS and still tied up with zip ties etc. I untied the zip ties but never bought a battery for it.
The rear mech is lightly used but in very good condition still.
Untested as I never tested it.

I bought the pair for £180 but have untangled the controller and un NOSified it.
So £150 (plus post) for the pair.

  • Oh yeah, also I have a pair of 631 Starfish cranks (chainringless) with the mounting posts.
    172.5mm length, english pedal threads.
They are in cracking condition and are one of the later 631 models (chamfered sides of the arms and slight bends in the arms).
I can take pictures if there is interest
Looking for £80 on their own, or £210 with the above.

  • Bump 10 quid off

  • Just want to mention that I believe you might actually not have a complete 631 Starfish here, but the later 632 model non d/s arm together with a 631 d/s arm. It's just that I understand that the 632 arm has almost v-shaped gaps inbetween the spider arms, plus incised sections in four places on the reverse side. Of course, I'm only really mentioning this because I have an odd set also and thought maybe you'd like to swap one of them for one of mine, especially as I'm pretty sure only one of your cranks would have the slight bend in it which I believe is pretty obvious on the non d/s crank but not on the other.

  • those look like a pretty much paired up set of starfish cranks i had blue anodised set before

  • Interesting, I recall both of the crank arms being the same shape but I'll check at work when I get a chance. If they are unmatched then I would indeed swap

  • Now on eBay.
