I’ll post for £300 or I could potentially get someone to drive me down if you pay petrol (the former is preferable). Let me know.

Final drop before eBay - £250 collected from Bristol city centre or £275 posted to the mainland UK.

Whats the geo on this?
Think its probably too small for me.. :( -

I can pull a geo chart from somewhere when I’m back from work but I’m 6 foot and it is probably a shade too small for me.

Please remove this thread - I’m going to give eBay a go.

I have been riding this bike quite a bit and never got round to eBaying it. I want a one one pompino/pompetamine or a Genesis day one and don’t have room for both.
Any one interested for £250? I’ve sorted out the grip issue. It rides exactly how it should save for the back brake which needs a bleed.
Collection from Bristol preferred although I have a box ready for posting if necessary. I will only post in the UK - Europe and beyond is too much hassle.

If you don't find anyone local or uk based, and maybe change your mind about EU shipping, I am interested but live in Berlin.
Surely the annoying part of shipping bikes is taking apart and safe stuffing into box, and the destination doesn't really matter?

Thank you for your message - the annoying part is getting quotes for the postage. I'm a busy guy and I don't have a car. I know roughly how much it is to post a bike within the UK but I would need to go to the post office to get an accurate quotation to send the bike to Germany. This would mean I would have to carry the bike to and from the post office twice. I know you can get quotes online but I have been caught out with the quotation being incorrect in the past.
I will keep you in mind if I don't manage to find a buyer locally although there are a number of people who are private messaging that may be able to collect in person.
Cheers

Hey Andrew
thanks for the explanation, I understand. And I am sure you will find someone local or willing to take the train. And I'll go see that Surly 1x1 and haggle like crazy...

Sold.
I bought this bike approximately two years ago and have ridden it mostly for XC rides on the weekends. I am looking to sell as apparently six bikes is too many to have in a one bedroom flat.
I have chucked on a random seat, seat post, headset and stem because I wanted to keep my Chris King and Thomson stuff. Other than the chainset (Shimano XT) and the tyres (Maxxis Ikon 2.2) the bike is fairly stock although it does come with free mud.
I'm looking for £300 collected from the city centre in Bristol but will post at the buyer's expense.
Issues
(1) the brakes probably need a bleed but still work okay;
(2) one of the grips is glued on - I have now idea why; and
(3) the pedals aren't included.
I can include a different pair of handlebars and/or grips if required.
Cheers
Andrew
