FS: Kinlin/DCR road wheelset > price drop

  • The clearout continues, I'm selling my CAAD frameset so it's time to move on some of my nicer bits that won't be needed. Collection or viewings in Sydenham, if you're certain on anything I can bring to work in Clerkenwell for collection but no viewings there I'm afraid.

    Shimano Ultegra/105 groupset, 6800 and 5800 range. £200 with cranks, £160 without, £50 for cranks > SOLD

Kinlin XR31 20/24h rims on DCR Shimano/Sram hubs, Sapim spokes and PX ti skewers. I really don't know what more you'd want from a rim brake wheel set, these are light, fast, comfortable, strong and look nice. Built by forum approved @broken_777 these have been completely hassle free. I'd estimate they've done around 1500 miles, the front rim shows some wear but the rear rim wear is very minimal. Cosmetically there's some marks that I've done my best to photo, there's some minor notching in the free hub body but no issues removing/installing the cassette. Photographing all the marks may give the perception they're scruffy but I think they still look like a really smart set of wheels, they run tru and the hubs are buttery smooth. £190 > £180 > £170 > £150 collected, not looking to post ATM.

Kinlin XR22 28/32h rims, Zenith track hubs (single fixed), Sapim spokes, front with brake, rear without. Again built by Martin, sealed bearing with road rims, he gives the hubs a going over from new so these are perfect for street use. The rear has seen plenty of use but is still tru and buttery smooth, there's a few marks which I'll photo soon. The front has less than 300 miles on it and is as good as new bar a few light storage marks. Much nicer on the streets than my TB14/DA 7600 IMO, my favourite all round wheel set but I'm getting something special for my Capo so these need to make way, £150>£140>no longer for sale

  • Hi Phil, I'm gonna try and shift the whole lot first but if I have taker for the groupset minus cranks then you'll be first in line, cheers.

  • interested in the shifters.

  • Dibs groupset

  • For the fixed wheelset, do you mean the rear has no brake track, or just never been braked on?

  • No brake track, it's a disc rim

  • Groupset sold, wheels still available.

  • Price drops on both wheelsets, pictures of rear kinlin track added

  • New year price drop on road wheelset

  • Decided to hold onto the track wheel set, road wheels still available

  • Decent price drop on the road wheel set and could probably be convinced to sell the Kinlin/Zenith's if anyone's keen
