Buying from Aliexpress

I know there've been some group buys/ some of you peeps have bought crabon an' stuff from Aliexpress. What have been your experiences? Do you alwayz get what you ordered? Do you get stung for customs or can they include duty in the sale?
I'm looking to buy a raft for t'missus, they're crazily expensive in UK but quite reasonable (seemingly) from China.
Answers on a postcard, please!

Fucking love Aliexpress. You can get some amazing bargains, but there is zero quality control and shipping can take forever.

I've never had any actual problems (well some broom clips I bought were scratched up). However, some stuff can be absolute dog shit in terms of quality.

Here are some amazing bargains i got for ¢ that I not only forgot I bought, but couldn't actually work out what they were.
