Serotta Coeur d’Acier with Campag Chorus 11 groupset and Campag Shamal Mille wheels.
Amazing bike. Never ceases to put a massive smile on my face when I ride it. Serotta have a reputation for build quality and that is evident when you’re up close to the bike, but it does translate into a sublime ride too. Hard to explain it but it is special. Fast, efficient, smooth yet responsive.
It has Serotta’s own steel tubes, with carbon seat stays and Serotta’s F:3 carbon fork with titanium dropouts, renown for being one of the best carbon forks ever made. It has a Chris King 1 1/8” sotto voce headset, Chorus 11 speed group, mega pricey/very light zero gravity brakes and the best wheels I’ve ever used; Campag Shamal Mille. The wheels are light, stiff, quick to accelerate, seem to hold speed as well as some Zipp 404 FC I had, but the braking is superb. Really like these wheels and they really suit the bike. Thomson seat post and stem (Syntace stem in pics but will swap). Ideally I’d like to keep the 40cm Easton carbon bars, so if you’re interested in the bike and would prefer different (wider) bars perhaps we can come to some sorta deal for me to keep the Eastons?
Again, this a used bike, so has some superficial signs of use, but has been well loved and therefore well looked after. It rides superbly, but I think I’ve said that. I’d prefer to keep the saddle and you’ll only change it to your preference anyway, so price is £xxxx* without the saddle. I’m properly on the fence about selling this as it’s irreplaceable (I wouldn’t have the £3700 these framesets cost new even if Serotta still made bikes which sadly they don’t).

Sven Cycles 853 Pro Team frameset with Enve fork and Chris King headset
Bought this last Jan from on here. Rather than duplicate, he’s the original thread with a good description and geometry etc:
https://www.lfgss.com/conversations/313469/
Lovely bike, have really enjoyed owning and riding it. This isn’t for you if you’re looking for something in concours condition, the paint is pretty tired to say the least, but if you want a lovely riding bike that’s unique, eye-catching and lively, but one you don’t have to be precious about then this could be ideal, as it was for me. Main tubes are Reynolds 853 Pro Team with a nice stainless steel head tube too.
The guy who sold it to me was the original owner and he expected the buyer to want to repaint it given the condition of the paint. But for me the paint (unusual colour and odd messages hand painted on it) were all part of it’s charms and I certainly didn’t feel the need to respray it. He warned me that the paint seems to chip easily and I’d agree with that, but as I’ve said, for me the fact that it’s far from perfect gives it character and for me at least it’s refreshing not to have to be precious about it. The 853 Pro Team tubing gives it a fast ride, and the Enve fork is faultless as you’d expect. I’ve used it a lot for a variety of rides, general training, some Alpine climbing whilst on a family holiday, long days out. I found that it just fits like a glove. Threaded BB another big plus of this frame for me.
Sven Cycles don’t make many out and out road bikes like this now, they're focused on niche bikes such as trikes, steel eBikes etc, so it’s a bit of a rarity.
Would like £400 for the frame, fork and CK headset.

Rose X Lite Six 53cm
This thing is a rocket. It’s Rose’s highest specification road race bike (there’s a disc version of it too but this is the lighter rim brake version). It’s a new design frameset and it’s had rave reviews. I’ve not had it long (late on in the Summer), but it’s blown me away how good it is.
As you can see from the above my preference is for steel frames, but I’ve had a few high end carbon frames over the years, and this is undoubtedly the best of the bunch. It’s a total weapon. If I still raced I’d definitely be keeping this, but I’m a lot more MTB focused these days, so this hasn’t been spared from the road bike cull.
It’s a 53cm frame, geometry in the link below:
https://www.rosebikes.co.uk/bikemodel/x-lite-six/54
This is a very high end bike. The cheapest complete bike Rose do with this frameset is £3900 and these are direct sale bikes like Canyon so a lot of bike for the money.
Mine has Giant SLR carbon tubeless clincher wheels (these were £1k when I bought them new about 18 months ago) and they have Schwalbe Pro One tubeless 25c tyres. The rear is set up tubeless but the front got a puncture I couldn’t repair so that now has a tube in it as the tyre is otherwise perfect. I’ve found these wheels to be very light and responsive, and there the first time I’ve run tubeless on the road, which I really like. They’ve never missed a beat.
The groupset is SRAM Force 11 shifters/mechs with a high end KMC chain, Shimano cassette (Ultra I think) and Campag Centaur brakes. All seen very little use. Thomson post and stem, Pro bars, I’d like to keep the saddle so that’s not included in the sale. The bar tape is not the neatest job in my opinion, but not so bad that I’d replace it before it’s had some wear. It’s just a bit thick for my liking. I’ve only ridden this frame for 250 miles from brand new. Lots of the components were new for this build but most were lightly used by me before they were transferred to this new frameset. In short it rides and looks very much like a nearly new bike.
The 170mm Quarq chainset and Absolute Black rings are also relatively new, probably less than 750 miles including the 250 on this bike.
If you wanted it with the Quarq then I’d want £xxxx* for the whole lot (without pedals and saddle). Or if you didn’t want the Quarq I’d do it for £xxxx* without a chainset.

Cinelli Vigorelli Frameset size small
Rides as good as it looks. And it looks GOOD. Used as my summer fixed gear bike, so reserved for warm dry days. A1 condition as a result. Pictures don’t do it justice, it’s a proper head turner.
I’ve done several centuries on this, including a hilly one down to Brighton and back and it’s all day comfortable and smiles for miles. But I’ve mainly used it for 1 hour threshold blasts and that’s where it really comes alive - it’s really quick!
It’s a size small, geo is the same as the new colour way, here:
http://cinelli.it/en/prodotti/vigorelli-en/
£xxx* for the frame, fork and headset.
I’m also selling the rear wheel (Phil on H Plus Son Formation Face). Bomb proof, never needed any attention, just keeps on truckin’. £110 without sprocket but with one Phil lock ring (it's double fixed btw).
I’ll be splitting this bike, so Campag record levers, Bontrager carbon post, Omniums etc all for sale in the separate thread later today.
*selling elsewhere so removed for sale from here.

Dialled Bikes/Stay Strong 853 race BMX.
This is awesome. But I already have one. N+1 got the better of me (again), but I really do not need 2! I love my original one so much I had to buy this when it came up as they’re rarely available. My son comes to the BMX track with me sometimes, but not enough to warrant having this taking up space in the garage.
The frame is super cool, with 853 main tubes, Sinz headset, rare and bling Cinq bolt through fork, bolt through hub laced to an Alienation Deviant rim. Stay Strong race bars, Shimano DXR brake lever and rear brake. Cut down bontrager xxx carbon post, nearly new Shimano Zee chainset/BB with Global Racing chainring, new KMC chain (1 ride old) and Shimano DX pedals. Islabike saddle, coz it’s small and light. The rear wheel has a nice Alienation rim, but the hub is a bit “meh”, just some generic offering and the rear tyre is pretty worn and fraying slightly in one of the sidewalls. Tyre could do with being replaced, although we’ve used it as it is with no issues. I’ll include some nearly new more “knobbly” tyres if the buyer wants them.
£xxx* all in. May split if I get a decent offer for the frame/fork etc.
*For sale elsewhere now so removed from here.

Amber Dorado park BMX.
Dabbled in skate park BMX whilst my lad dragged me to skate parks so he could use his scooter. Upgraded the tyres to some grippy KHE Dan Lacey park tyres and fitted some proper pedals and never felt the need to change anything else. Relatively little use, but still has picked up the odd superficial mark from use. But I ain’t got the balls/skillz to punish the bike so unlike a lot of second hand BMXs this isn’t wrecked. £150.

Trek Superfly “rolling chassis” with Rockshox Reba fork and Chris King/Stans Crest wheels.
Carbon Superfly 9.6 2016 frame 18.5”. Geo here:
https://www.wheelandsprocket.com/product/trek-superfly-9.6-232709-1.htm
It’s the 18.5” (third column from the left i.e. “actual frame size 17.5” in the geo chart - God knows why Trek confuse matters by giving every frame 2 sizes)
I’m selling the frame, 100mm Reba fork, headset, bottom bracket (fits Shimano MTB Hollowtech II chainsets) and wheels/tyres. The wheels are Chris King ISO disc hubs in green laced to Stans Crest 29er rims. Set up tubeless. Bontrager tyre on the rear, Schwalbe Racing Ralph on the front. The front seems to have a slow puncture, but probably nothing a little replenishment of sealant wouldn’t fix.
Again, a few signs of wear on the frame/fork as you'd expect from a used off road bike, but it's all working perfectly. The worst is a chip to the top of the top tube where the bars swung round once and the shifter hit it. But I did that pretty much when I first got it about 3 years ago and I've ridden it lots since with no issues.
Looking for £xxx* for the “rolling chassis”. It’s a very fast bike, ideal for racing. I’ve won quite a few XC races on it ;0)
My brother is probably going to take this from me but I thought I'd put it on here as I was in the "flow" whilst I wait for him to "shit or get off the pot".
Any questions with any of the bikes, please ask. Cheers, Damian.
*selling elsewhere so removed from sale here. Soz. Brother's wife stopped him buying it ;0)

Thanks @furious_tiles I've given my brother first dibs on the Trek really, but if he says no then potentially yes. I'll let you know the outcome.
I don't live anywhere near a track either, but it's worth the drive. So much fun.

My gosh! You’ve made me feel so much better about my n+1 problem. If I hadn’t just bought a cargo bike I’d have loved to give the Demon a home back in Southampton.
I might be tempted by the Stay Strong, early Christmas present to myself perhaps.
After much soul searching, I’m down sizing my fleet. I’ve followed the cliched N+1 for too long and need to reduce my bike count to a more sensible tally.
I’m sure I’ll rue this decision but all of my most prized possessions are up for grabs. They’ve all brought me great pleasure, are all superb for different reasons.
Demon Frameworks 953 bespoke lugged bike. There’s a “current projects” thread which provides more details on the frame and my decision making process when I had it made, including images of it in it’s raw state before painting.
https://www.lfgss.com/conversations/206517/
It’s a fantastic bike and one I thought I’d never sell, but it was initially bought with touring in mind. I’ve made a decision to use my “once a year family free holiday pass” for DH MTBing rather than touring, so unfortunately that makes this bike a little redundant for me. It’s an amazing ride for long days in the saddle but it's also surprisingly rapid for short sharp fast rides if you are prepared to give it some licks.
Geo is bespoke to me (a bit of a T-Rex) so it has a 53cm C-C effective top tube and a 56cm seat tube measured from the BB centre to centre of the top tube. This geo does result in a fair bit of toe overlap for me with size 9 shoes and 172.5mm cranks. Despite the overlap, in the real world I’ve only caught the front wheel 2 or 3 times and always at slow speed negotiating round bollards or similar. It’s never thrown me off, and it doesn’t happen in normal riding but I feel obliged to mention it.
Every tube is stainless steel, main tubes are all Reynolds 953 and I think the others are Columbus or similar. The lugs are all stainless too, Rene Singer I believe from memory. It’s a genuine work of art and rides so tight. It’s quick too, despite having clearances for 28c tyres and guards.
Chris King headset (1”), Campag 10 speed group with a Daytona rear mech that allows for the 13-29 cassette, Hope Pro2 on Open Pro wheels, Campag Chorus Ti seat post (very rare, very nice), Brooks Swift Ti railed saddle (I have nearly full tub of proofhide you can have), Brooks leather bar tape, stainless bottle cages. Pedals not included.
It’s been used, but despite having had for a few years now it’s not been hammered as I have other bikes I use ahead of this. Hence selling it. There are signs of use as you’d imagine, a few chips to the paint, but generally it still pings in the sun and looks and rides superbly.
Looking for £xxxx* and will regret selling it the second it goes. PM me with questions. Thanks.
More pics and more bikes to follow...
*removed from sale on here, trying elsewhere for now. Thanks.
