Giveaway: 70’s steel frames, Raleigh Europa, plus wheel and rim

Lewisham Cyclists had a clear out and we have a couple of old steel 70’s or early 80’s frames that are in need of too much work for us to find the time to build up. First, a Raleigh Europa, quite a bit of surface rust, in need of a fair bit of work with some steel wool and with a stem that feels pretty seized. I have released something similar with weeks soaking in lemon juice, although can’t guarantee it would work with this. Second is a Falcon, possibly an Olympic. Quite nice looking and in better condition than the Europa but with a stuck seatpost. Free to anyone who can pick up and takeaway

Also a wheel and a rim. Nothing special. If you take both, you can have them.

Does nobody want these? They are absolutely free. Just arrange to meet me at our container and pick them up. If we had the space, time and a bit of spare cash we’d definitely not let them go. We’d spend a bit of time and money freeing up the stuck parts and turning them into basic beater singlespeeds probably. Unfortunately, the people to whom we provide cheap refurbs don’t generally want fixed or singlespeed, so it's not worth Lewisham Cyclists while doing it.

If transport is a problem, I could drop them round to someone in our cargotrike, as long as it’s within a three miles radius of SE23. Would just really like someone to make use of these frames.
