I actually want this bike. But what I really should do is fix up my Kona.

• #14
damn, didn't expect this many replies.
I've responded to PMs from everyone, and sent to those who expressed interest.
Thanks! -

That is fucking rad
-
• #16
I want this......
-
• #17
So do I. It has to have sold, though. Right?
-
• #18
sorry, it has been sold.
I encourage everyone to build a bike like this. it's not hard, 26" MTB frames and components are stupid cheap these days, and you will have a lot of fun. -
• #19
No need to apologise! Great price for a cracking bike. Just had the 'we've got no money' chat from the better half, so even at that bargain price, I probably couldn't have swung it.

Arguably radder
This bike is so much fun.
As the title says, it is rad and will get you rad too. Perfect for Autumn.
A singlespeed with all the things you need (front suspension, dropper), and nothing you don't. Minimal maintenance required. Short chainstays make it a wheelie machine.
Tubeless, hydro brakes, proper steel frame - check.
Frame - Genesis IO ID, Medium-Large size. I'm 6", it fits me well, a few inches either side no problem.
Fork - Rockshox Recon Gold RL. Recently serviced, plush as anything.
Rear Wheel - Surly Singlespeed x Mavic XM819 (handbuilt), Conti Mountain King 2.2
Front Wheel - DMR Revolver x Mavic XM819 (handbuilt), Conti Mountain King 2.2
Brakes - Shimano Deore M615. Pads are a little worn, I'll include some new Kevlar ones for free.
Crankset - Raceface
Freewheel - White Industries "Blue"
Dropper - RSP
Pedals - none included, I can chuck in some SPDs for £5 if you'd like.
All yours for £280 collected in NW1. I can deliver for the price of a return train ticket if you're further.
