Hello, my name is paul. i am new to the fixie community. i currently live in glasgow and i have noticed that the fixed gear community is either non existent or i just cant find people to ride with. i would love to meet up with some of you guys if you are from glasgow or even edinburgh. i want to learn new tricks

Join a Facebook group called Glasgow Bike Umbrella. Fixed scene here is small but active.

retrodirect/glowbike

Very active, all the alleycats seem to have like 30 folk at them. That's more than anywhere else I know of.

Also, join the glasgow bike polo crew. Good bunch there too.

Edinburgh fixed gear crew ride together a lot but don't do much organised through fb and forums. Go to a wednesday pub ride and meet people to ride with.

Been a bit of a lull with WBMC in Riga and summer, should be picking up soon. I'm meant to be organising a no-drop big ride in September, will get Glasgow Bike Umbrella to share it when I do. Should get another Bicycales ride sorted soon too.
