May I ask about the rear spacing? If your dating is correct, I'm guessing 120mm, right?

Knew I'd forget something... Rear spacing is measuring approx. 125mm - 126mm.
Only have a steel rule to hand to measure. Not sure if it's been spread to 126mm and originally 120mm. A 130mm wheel would squeeze in but you'd need the ends properly reset if going that wide. Especially with it having fastback stays and chrome. If using 126mm or 120mm, I'd say the frame would benefit from ends being checked and cold set by LBS once whatever wheel spacing to be used is decided. Be worth making sure they are perfectly parallel.

For some reason I’m mesmerised by the neat Asterix and records collection.
And the chrome, of course, lovely chrome. GLWS it’s a lovely frame.

Thanks... maybe my OCD has hypnotic powers!
It is a lovely, solid little frame. I'm probably as fussy with bike stuff as I am neat with books. Saying that, I must dig out the enamel and re-paint in that patch.

Small frame, another small reduction... £200 inc the delivery seems a better price.
Probably leave it at that a wee while, so if interested or need any info, just give me a shout.
HARRY QUINN FRAMESET - ca. 1972 - Chrome Lugs / Crown / Forks / Stays
Beautiful little high quality Harry Quinn frame. Fastback stays, attractive semi-longpoint lugs, Campag fork ends and vertical dropouts. Chrome lugs, crown, fork blades, and seatstays and chainstays. Nice and light, no sticker, presuming Reynolds 531 tubing.
From Harry Quinn frame registry, frame number places it early 1970s, maybe '72 - '73. Not sure the frame numbers always ran consecutively though! But frame style would indicate that vintage.
Condition
Structurally, frame is solid. No dents. Rode well when I had briefly built a few years ago and test rode. Overall the chrome is pretty excellent and I'd rate paint as okay to good. Chrome superb and very lovely, only issue to point out is a couple of small delaminations to chrome on front headlugs. There is distinct patina to paint, while subjective, I think it looks great as is and definitely rideable but does have it's fair share of blemishes. To be explicit, I've touched up paint in numerous places, colour match is decent, but touch ups are evident. There are also "banded" areas on top tube that appear darker in colour. This is staining from where I carefully removed old electrical tape. There is also shadowing of grotty old transfer lettering I removed. Think it had "Southport C.C." lettering on top tube originally. Headbadge transfers still look great, downtube lettering a bit worn with missing bits.
There is one distinct area I must highlight. Previous owner had a single right hand side band-on downtube shifter. It was badly mounted and scrapping paint when shifting. I cleaned off paint in this area to check tube. Found there's some braze there under where this was happening. Turns out braze there has actually been good as it shifter was scrapping this braze and not tube. Perhaps means a shifter stop or downtube boss was removed at some point in its life. I had touched this area up, but have removed paint so I can show clearly in photos and that no damage to tube. I can touch up again prior to any sale. No trace of similar on right hand side, so maybe single shifter TT frame. Clearances are certainly tight, so with fastback stays too, maybe it was a tiny TT frame.
