PM as I've just rescued an XT triple? mech from the pile of stuff that was going to be thrown out. I can't get pictures to you yet but you might be able to identify it or let me know how I can establish whether it is 10-speed or fewer?

By the way, as the mech was going to be thrown out I can't charge you for it so it's yours for free. All you have to do is collect it from sunny Acton or promise to ply me with coffee and/or beer and I could meet you at LMNH, Old Street.

Thanks man! I think @amey is ignoring me and getting some well earned rest. I've harassed him with too many n00b questions today. I will see what he says about the fit, he's helping me with my project.
