Hi all,

I am selling this lovely 54cm candy red 1994 Gitane Mach 230 in Columbus Gara steel.

I have just given it a look over so it works really well.

Size wise, would suit someone 5ft7 (170cm) to 5ft10 (178cm) ish. Top tube is 54cm ctc, seat tube is 53cm ctc. Stem is 90mm, bars are 42cm.

It has a Sachs 2000 Sport groupset 2x7 speed (with a freewheel), all in great nick as it has seen very little use.

It has:

• New inner brake cables and new cartridge brake pads at the front.
  
• New 700x25mm tyres on Mavic 195 black rims (wheels are true)
  
• New Retro Rivet Saddle in black
  
• New BBB black cork bar tape.
  
  

All in great working order.

A couple of light scuffs and small marks on the paint but no dents.

The Sachs 2000 front derailleur was not super precise (due to its ABS plastic construction inherited from the Huret old school technology), so I replaced it with a Shimano 105 from the same era.

Crisp change and looks good too!

The original FD will also be included in the sale.
