Ah. How much u want for it anyway? Might be able to make it work
-

With BB? Sounds pretty good, but would need to check frame clearance... Can you measure the distance between the inside of the arms at the pedal spindle?
-
• #9
No BB, I am just using with Sora BB :P

• #10
much class, very premium

Can you measure the distance between the inside of the arms at the pedal spindle?
I dont understand :(
-
• #12
I need to know distance x, effectively.
Which is easiest to find by putting left crank arm on rotated 180deg and measuring in between the crank arms

ah ok yeah I will do .. it comes with axle spacers and works with just standard shimano BB FYI.
-
• #15
Ooh, that could be a goer.
-
• #16
Oh, sorry, I got confused. R02 is external type, I haz internal, and I think the spiders are different.
-
• #17
Ah, yes, I believe they are. Soz!
-
• #18
What cranks/spider do you have?
-
• #19
I was told they're R01s by the guy at BETD, but not entirely conviced they're not RS7s. Running an RS7 Uno currently.
-
• #20
just to chip in, have some spare RS7s that I could part with (do you need a spider?) ... if Amey sells me his RO2 set to replace them.
Amey, what was the answer to the sizing question - distance between crank arms?and yes RO1, RO2 and RS7 all have different spiders, I have used several sets as there is nothing near as versatile for odd and fancy builds

Have no real need for any other spiders, just after cranks and an Uno ring of whatever size. 165s would be a bonus, as I could swap those for the 175s on Kate's tourer and make everyone happy
-
• #22
tradez all round?
-
• #23
Kinda want to have both tbh. Because options.
If I really do have R01s then the RS7 Uno gave me a decent MTB chainline.
-
• #24
Don't think cranks have any marking except length. But visually my RO1 is 'straighter' than RS7, so for a given axle and chainline the pedals are further apart on RS7 for MTB clearance
swap would work for me -

That's what I figured. Do you have any Uno bits?
Before I get impatient and give up my search, has anyone got some Middleburn RS7 or RS8 cranks they'd let go of? Ideally with a 32-36 Uno ring. Pretty please
