Thankfully no spills (yet, touch wood), just the shifting in the bottom 2 gears is a little off, and I've been advised this may be the cause. Given the niche for this, I should probably just stop being tight and buy one!

Mine wasn’t crashed or knocked but shifting went to shit, took it off and it had a fair old bend on it. They’re made of cheese.

You're may find it's because it's a 1x10 conversion using 2x10 cranks, so the chainring may be a out from the ideal chain line.

That's something I'd not even considered - will have a google and see what the hell its supposed to be and go from there. Thanks! And @PhilDAS if that means I can take it from the food budget and not the bike budget its a win for me
