26 inch wheel, cassette, rim brake

I'd like to upgrade my kid brother's bike to the wonders of 9 speed Deore. It's not his birthday or anything so I'm doing it on the cheap and the only part I don't have is a suitable wheel (he's still enjoying 6 speed freewheel mayhem).

Anyone got anything? I'm in Brighton, but brother is in SW London so may be able to send some family member as my proxy to collect.

I have a 9 speed cassette with a chain yours for a tenner . Also got a sora rear brake £10.I am in Wimbledon

Cheers all - turns out he has outgrown his bike anyway and is now on the same size as me, not sure when that happened the kids only 13 but there you go.

Bit of a change of plan now, gonna sort him a new bike
