Potential dibs but have a couple of questions please;
is this version retina? Can't remember when this was introduced
do you know if you can swap out the HDD or is this soldered in line the RAM?
Is the new battery original apple? checking as I've had previous issues with non-oem batteries

It's not, I've added the missing spec's now, see above.

This is probably the one of the easiest generations of MBP to work on, just take the bottom off and everything is easily accessable and replaceable - If you want to install an SSD it'll take you about 5 minuites.

Its 3rd party, from a large, well regarded, UK Based spare parts company; not some cheapo eBay job with no chance of warrenty. I've bought from this supplier a few times and never had any issues. I still have the reciept for the battery in the unlikley event it had a problem.

Excellent condition Macbook Pro which is all clean and good to go, I have refurbished it:
As you'll see from the photos (below) its got some usual scratches to the case from use, but nothing serious. The screen has no dead pixels, the keyboard has no stuck keys and as I said its got a brand new battery.
