This is a frame for tall people from the land of tall people. Vittorio frames were (and are) all custom builds by Jan Groot of Alkemaar in the Netherlands – the name of the original customer is engraved on the bottom bracket shell.
Seat tube is 60cm CTC, top tube is 58cm. Dropouts are 100/126 spacing, braze-on fittings for gear levers and front mech, and an unusual inset groove on the top tube for the rear brake cable. Original paintwork in excellent condition for a 25 year old frame, with a patch of light rust on one chainstay and some on the forks, plus minor marks of use on the gorgeous red paintwork. Columbus tubing according to the generic Columbus sticker. From the relatively light weight (2940g including forks and Stronglight headset) I guess it is Columbus SLX.
I bought this lovely thing on here in 2012 and have ridden it lightly since. Now £190 plus £15 postage or could arrange London or Dunwich July 29 handover.
Below is how I had it built up, a mish-mash of decent parts. All the components will be for sale in a separate thread, including Campag Omega wheels on Athena hubs, Ofmega drilled chainset and BB, Ultegra brakes, MKS track pedals.
Don't worry about formatting, just type in the text and we'll take care of making sense of it. We will auto-convert links, and if you put asterisks around words we will make them bold.
Tips:
Create headers by underlining text with ==== or ----
To *italicise* text put one asterisk each side of the word
To **bold** text put two asterisks each side of the word
Embed images by entering: ![](https://www.google.co.uk/images/srpr/logo4w.png) That's the hard one: exclamation, square brackets and then the URL to the image in brackets.
* Create lists by starting lines with asterisks
1. Create numbered lists by starting lines with a number and a dot

For syntax highlighting, surround the code block with three backticks:
```
Just like Github, a blank line must precede a code block.
If you upload more than 5 files we will display all attachments as thumbnails.
