    Hi all,

I have just finished putting this together.
This is a small 1986 "Cycles Océane" mixte bike in Reynolds 453.

Seat tube is 49cm ctc, 51cm ctt.
Top tube is 52cm ctc projected.
    80mm ATAC quill Stem.

So best suited to someone around 5ft2 ish.
This is the smallest frame they made at the time!

Went 1 × 7 speed while using a lovely pair of red Ambrosio Balance clincher rims laced to Shimano 105 hubs.
Shimano RSX rear derailleur (you could go up to 9 speeds if you wanted to). Shimano 105 chainset. Lyotard pedals. ITM fluted seatpost.

    Over £80 of new parts:

    • New integrated 45T chainring & guard. £12
    • New 112mm sealed bottom bracket fitted. £10
    • New 12-28T Shimano cassette. £12
    • New aero brakes levers. £10
    • New white Jagwire cabling inner/outer. £10
    • New Hutchinson Nitro2 700c x 25mm tyres. £15
    • New white retro rivet Saddle. £5
    • New white Hoy bar tape. £5
    • New front brake pads. £5

Ready to roll, would suit someone liking red & white!

The frame has various paint chips, marks and scuffs. The surface rust has been neutralized with Rustoleum. Stickers are removable.

A great daily ride for a lucky lady. It would fit 28mm wide tyres & mudguards.

I am after SOLD FOR £150 for the complete bike (wheels alone are sought after).

    Test rides from Stoke Newington.

    Cheers

    Vince
