I was looking at this yesterday with a view, like yourself, to get one to clean the patio.
I decided on the £99.99 Karcher K2 from Screwfix. Seems to get excellent reviews. -

Little karcher one (was I think £80 in Homebases {other diy chains are etc} when I bought one about two months ago) seems to do the job.

Was also looking at one of these yesterday / today. John Lewis seem to be doing the same thing for a tenner less than Screwfix, unless I am mistaken?

Probably a stupid question, does it require a specific hose from the tap to the machine?
It is it filled by any old hose?
I think I'll need a lot of hose to get from the back garden (where the tap is) to the front (where the car/ bike/ more path to be cleaned) -

Yes - but aren't they relatively standard? Mine has a hozelock end on that fits fine onto the Karcher. One of these I think:

Any old hose with one of those hoselock fittings (that screw onto the hose and plug into the machine) - about £4

Ok karcher modern consumer stuff is poor quality while the pro stuff is better but not by much.
Look at the nilfisk ones, steel pumps compared to karcher plastic ones. Google search why the nilfisk is good.

Nilfisk used to make a load of the lab cleaning stuff when I was a white-coated pharmaceuticals type (liquid vacuum cleaners and the like). If it can put up with some of the stuff we put it through, then it's ok!

Got the screwfix own brand one, Titan, seems ok

I bought a Aqua2go PRO portable cordless bike washer for the bikes.
Battery powered or car lighter, can use 20L built in tank or fill from nearby creek.
I like it. Doesn't need 240V so you can charge and take it to races or I can walk to my car and clean it (we don't park close enough for elec to reach).Think I paid just over £120 for it.

The connector on the aqua2go gun just broke.
See:
https://singletrackworld.com/forum/topic/portable-pressure-washer-spray-gun/The Sealey pw1712.52 part is supposed to be the same so I ordered one off UK ebay for £7 rather than paying £20 for an aqua2go part from Germany. Fingers crossed.
These guys (https://cpc.farnell.com/sealey/pw1712-52/connector-for-pressure-gun/dp/SI18072) had them for < £2 but their site just stopped responding.

but their site just stopped responding.
That's the CPC site isn't it? They've been really good in the past when I've needed bits. Recently had to replace the connector on the unit itself, bought a spare gun and other bits at the same time because they were so cheap.
The gun attachment with a brush and small cleaning fluid mixer bottle is really useful.

I’ve just picked up one of these, partly on the recommendation of @gofasterstipes
Just need to get out on the cx bike now to give it a proper test.

Those universal battery packs are the shit. Got myself a nice Makita brushless combi drill a few months ago and have since added a grinder a circular saw.

I’ve been looking at one of these for a while, think I might get one with the random amazon vouchers I got from work over Christmas.

You don't have permission to access "http://cpc.farnell.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/OrderCalculate?" on this server.

Try it again. Still no go for me.

Hi all - happy to revive this thread as only read about Pressure washers in 'bastard Neighbours'. Any recommendations given changes in models and particularly vfm in the last cpl years.
I've read that the higher up the marcher line the significantly better and thus less likely to fail, the components and materials are.
Wanted for - general spraying and manliness
Cleaning bike (gently around bearings etc, just getting the worst of the crud off the frame)
Cleaning Car/Van and kayaks
Rinsing wetsuits /spray decks and buoyancy aids (sea water)
Blasting seagull shit etc off windows
Cleaning patio and deckingSeem to be good deals on the K2 and K3 full control 'home' options and also models from many other manufaturers. Happy to spend up to £200max if there's a chance of getting something much more reliable and user friendly but equally/more happier at a ton

Funny this popped up. We used our aqua2go to wash a friend's car last night and one of the neighbours came out and was amazed at my little battery powered beastie.

I have a K4, which has done all of the above, plus clearing drains and blasting fox shit off a very pissed off labrador. They can be had for £158 on Ebay new. It's one of those instances where you pay for the brand, after all, you wouldn't pay for Shimano substitutes (but you might pay for fake SRAM, because it can't be worse).
I am looking for a pressure washer, mainly to clean the car and the patio.
It seems they are available for any price range.
What's the go-to choice of the forum?
Around £100 budget (if possible)
