• Hi all

Looking for a pair of deep/semi-deep profile rims to build into a track wheelset.

One rim must be 24h, the other would be 24h/20h, but I could make 28h work at a push.

The ideal would be some sleek, black rims so interested in cheap carbon or something like Kinlin Xr31T Disc (or equivalent). DT RR 521 db would also work.

If none of that works then I might have to settle for something 30mm+ in the right drillings, ie some of the other Kinlin offerings or similar, but probably black/grey/silver only.

    Thanks!

    Steven

  • I have Eternity rims in black 30mm, 18mm internal. Smooth satin finish ,no braking track on these or even resemblance of it.

    Lovely rims. Them .

I have 28/28 .Does that work?

  • Afraid not, I already have the rear hub in 24 hole variety :(

The front could be ordered to fit 28, but I’m stuck with the rear.

  • Yeah, I mulled on it for a while, then pulled the trigger... My track skills probably aren’t good enough to show off anything much deeper than 26.9mm anyhow..! Thanks for the heads up.
