Road friendly carbon tarck frames?

  • Looking to upgrade my Dolan TC as it's getting a bit battle worn. Have plenty steel bikes, not keen on alu and don't own anything carbon (apart from parts) so thinking of carbon frames.

This will be more a fixed road bike than velodrome use so will warrant appropriate punishment capability, but still want the rads track geo for hipster points. Would like something fairly subtle looking rather than lairy if poss, and not too £££. And I'm not keen on the Planet X carbon track as I expect that would be an obvious suggestion.

Dolan Seta already on the list.

Anything I should look out for in the classifieds?

  • Boardman TRK? Drilled fork and geometry basically nicked from their TT bike, but you do have to deal with a bit of a stupid bottom bracket. They were listed at £849 a frameset but it looks like they're all gone.

  • Seta is so sturdy despite its thin look.
