Is it not an automatic because it has "reserve" written visible at the top of the dial? Do you know what the button does?

Seiko 5M43 movement is part of the kinetic range. My guess is that the button on the crown , once depressed at 0 (as indicated on the dial) moves the secondhand. This shows how much charge is stored in the capacitor as indicated on the dial by the small triangles. The first triangle being 1 to 2 days charge the second being 3/6 days and finally the third representing between 7 to 12 days e.t.c
