FS: Abici Velocino - Reissue of 1930's classic - £550 - Offers Accepted

For sale is a Collectable Abici Velocino, a reissue of the 1930's classic commissioned by Mussolini

This bike is a design classic, the frame has been kept in near new condition, though there are some markings on the handlebars from removal and use on another frame (as seen in the pictures), along with some wear on the saddle (also pictured)

I think whoever thaught a relaunch was a good idea is a bit strange.
But then they obviously sold one and it has a nice saddle.

it's interesting that this was recreated. But for 550 I would want an original! This is obviously not a high-quality bit of kit but I suppose if you have money to burn it could be a cool toy. 550 can still buy you a lot of bike (for example, here on the forum)...Does make one curious about the riding position and ride characteristics. Leaning forward with feet out in front of you..... What it would be like down a fast hill!!!
Good luck with sale. If you can't shift it you should try charging 2 pounds for a ten minute ride. I bought an old Bike E, the original mass produced recumbent, with a big aluminium beam frame, and it gets so many comments when I ride it; lots of people have asked to try it, including every kid in my neighbourhood. That's the fun in owning something like this: the conversations it starts and the
experience of sharing an eccentric or unusual conveyance.
