Whats the mileage on the 105 cassette?

  • Potential dibs on front rack

  • 580mm wide, 80mm reach at centre

  • No longer need bullmoose bars

  • One pair of Shimano SPDs gone

  • Added Campagnolo road hubs. Comes with a cassette block, I don't have Campag tools to put it apart. Don't really know how to price that, is £90 for the pair off?

With my limited experience, I’d say it’s nigh on impossible to get the freewheel off while the hub is not built into a complete wheel. It’s going to be harder to lace, and you might find it’s seized on when you do try and remove it, it’s unlikely though.

  • Oh, great news all around then!

  • A buyer could lace it with ‘z’ spokes to get around the freewheel still being there :)

  • Do you still have the bullmoose? Dibs. PM incoming

  • Dibs spoke tension meter + rear rack
    PM incoming

  • I’ve done a bit of reading, I see that there’s not enough leverage to remove the freewheel when unbuilt. However, the good news is that the flange is high enough and the sprocket small enough that the wheel can still be laced without removing the cassette.

  • Like so
