Chris King NoThreadset

I have purchased a Chris King headset at enormous expense.

I have never fitted a thread less headset before, so read the fitting instructions.

They tell me I need to use an adapter when deploying my headset press to avoid damaging the headset.

Is the really necessary, or is it traditional American over-cautiousness?

I've fitted a number of Chris King headsets with a hammer and a block of wood without any issues. There as hard as nails
