Help with Hope hub / sram xd driver issue please..

  • am a retard - solved the issue - leaving this here for reference tho -
    for avoidance of doubt it means remove the drive side axle end cap (QR if you have QR - or 12 mm etc) then slide the cassette onto the XD driver and tighten down with cassette tool - for some reason if you have the end cap on the cassette won't tighten down against the base of the XD driver .

    HOPE XD DRIVER
    When fitting a sram cassette to a xd driver body you must first remove the drive side spacer before fitting the cassette.this allows the spline tool to go all the way in to engage the full spline.
    Pull off only the spacer with a suitable grip fit the cassette to manufacturers specified torque.Then just push the spacer back onto the hub.
    Same applies to removal of the cassette
