I'm selling this, might be a bit small and expensive for you?
Willing to drop the price a bit more

I might be able to make that work actually, looking at the geometry, but yeah it's a bit more than I'd like to spend. Could probably manage if I sell on the groupset etc. Let me do a bit more reading and I'll PM you

I’m after something similar, but rim brakes and a 54cm, if anyone gets this far reading the wanted ad and is a bit shorter....

If you can buy into using a rugged alu frameset with carbon seat stays I'd advise finding a Specialized globe pro or expert. I have one of each, the pro is 130mm, the expert is 135mm. Takes 42mm if not bigger WITH mudgards and approx 55mm without.
I've had the Pro as my daily for the last 8 years and it takes an absolute beating without flinching, the expert I built up as an audax/winter racer cum tourer.
Higher end Specialized tricross with the carbon stays would also possibly work but not sure on max tyre size. -

Hi @frankenbike
I've got this Arkose frame and forks, which I'm am coming to realise that I don't need (much as it breaks my heart)
Size medium (geo here: https://static.evanscycles.com/production/pdf-media/sizing-table/Pinnacle_size_and_geometry_guide_Arkose_Mens_2017.pdf)
The paint is awesome. Condition is excellent aside from the chip to the chain stay in the pic.
£225

Might be just a little bit too small... I'll go for a test ride in Evans at the weekend and try the M and get back to you!

OK mate. Let me know either way as I'm going to do a FS thread. I'll give you first shout until Sunday :)

Very kind, cheers!

Just seen that you need postage - that might be a game changer as I try not to do that anymore after a total ball ache previously.

Ah right, no worries. I'll go and test ride one anyway as it's a good bike and I'd like to know what size I want in case someone else has one for sale. If the M fits me and you don't find an easier sale I'll get back in contact!
I'm looking for a frame to replace my road frame. Am a tiny bit over 5'11", looking for something with about 58cm effective top tube, stack around 600mm (or a bit over), reach just under 400mm.
My list of ideal features goes as follows:
Obviously I don't expect to get all of these features.
Example frames that fulfil many of my criteria :
If it's a full bike I will probably swap the groupset for my 2x10 SRAM Rival/Apex groupset that I have already. So bikes with cable disk calipers are preferred.
Budget-wise I'm looking around £500 for a full (used) bike; could maybe go a bit higher for something fairly new; less than £500 for just a frameset.
I'm in Edinburgh but visit Durham, other parts of Scotland often and could also get to Birmingham on a weekend. If it's not near any of those places (or on the way from one to another) I'd need postage.
Feel free to crush my dreams and tell me I'm deluded
