I've not done it before, but I don't think the route sends you up any serious climbs. They don't publish the route until 2 weeks before the event. My impression from people who've done the ride is that it's rolling.

I'm interested, but the event website says entries are non-transferable. Have you checked with organisers? Happy to take the transferred entry if it's a possibility.

I can't find where it says that, but was assuming you could just turn up with my name and order reference number. Will email them and post answer here.

@sansovino @psg1ben the answer is you just have to sign up for a Results Base profile and the place can be passed on to you.
