Absolutely LOVELY bike, but, like the complete arsehole that i am, i have to poo-poo one statement:
'The lightest production frame on the planet'
If F&F are the stated 978g, then technically the Felt FR FRD is lighter......
......albeit by something like 20g
I will testify, that at that weight, you can easily get it under 7kg without any particularly fancy wheels, finishing kit or group set.
GLWS!

'The lightest production frame on the planet'
this was the statement of the manufacturer at the time of the release...
not sure if it's still correct, but what I know, that a size:52 weights about 665gr....so probably lighter than the Felt. -
• #20
The 56cm FRD was 684g, so probably not.
Either way, why don’t we compare apples with apples and bring your thread up to the here and now:
- this is a 54
- this is not the lightest production frame on the planet
- this is a 54

Wtf is a 'felt'? Carpet?! It won't get you gram likes .. gram loves a good cannondale.
-
• #22
MORE Gram’s don’t get you up a hill quicker/more comfortably, LESS grams do.....
Got to lose them grams Amedawg

• #23
What bike frame have you got to replace this NANA, Is there something better out there ?
-
• #24
so... did a bit of soul/web searching and these frames were avail on sale in italy at 1500euros at some point...
-
• #25
why don’t we compare apples with apples
Probably we should. The Felt FR FRD weights 684g with raw carbon finish. If you peel off the color from the Cannondale and make it raw finish like the Felt, I'm quite safe that the Cannondale will be lighter
