I am going from London to MK Tuesday afternoon/evening and can bring back to N4 if that's of any use?

Tuesday 28th? The auction doesn't end until next Monday sadly. Thanks for the offer though :).

If dicki can't make it, I'm currently "funemployed".
The train tickets will cost you around £60, but it's quite variable depending upon the time of day: can you ask the seller at what times it would be available for collection and how far from the station they are?

You also ought to check the shipping costs beforehand because it might/will cost a bomb, due to "volumetric weight".

You're better find lfgss member directly from MK.

Why did no-one else think of this?

Bike to Aus is a shit ton of money, circa £225-250 (130x25x70cm - 45kg volumetric weight) + insurance/compo cover which bumps it up even more. Anything over AU$1000 is liable to duties and taxes plus you need to fill out the form in addition to the invoices that must be attached to the parcel.
sorting out collecting the bike, packing the bike properly and documentation for something like this isn't a simple matter, then there's the waiting in for the courier.Best of luck

I was looking for a helping hand with the shipping, not an explanation of how to do it. I do live in Aus, have shipped things here from the UK - I understand how the postage system works.

I've got a railcard so cheap fares (around 10quid return) but can only do the following saturday at the moment. It shouldn't take longer than 2hrs getting it back to London pending collection location. So if all else fails and your willing to pay for time spent collecting the bike and prepping the parcel for post then let me know
Want to buy a new bike on ebay, but the chap wont ship let alone internationally. Someone want to do me a favour for money/beers/whatever?
@dicki ??
