WANTED: Single Speed Commuter

Hi,

I used to commute on my road bike but now I can no longer lock it up in a secure area, so I'm looking for a cheap (but adequate) single speed. Budget is around £200-250 and I'll be doing about 30km a day.

I knew I forgot something. Looking for 54-55cm I guess, this is based on my road bike which is a compact frame and 54cm.

I've got a Paul Hewitt audax frame that's currently fixed for sale but has drilling for rear brake so could go singlespeed easy. I'm 6 foot and it worked for me but it is a 52 frame. Just needs a rear brake, freewheel and tyres tubes and pedals to make it work?

I have a really ratty nervex lugged 70's single speed for sale. The right size for you and nobody will ever attempt to steal it because it's really fugly (paint was dry sanded off the frame). Needs new tires, wires and bartape. Has enough clearance for fenders and wide tires. 50 GBP ono. Collection from E2, Hackney Road. PM if interested. Cheers!

Got a 53cm Charge plug racer frame and bits that might suit? Could even build it up if you want and are London based?
