Well, it's modern, tubeless ready and does the job. For a 29er tyre it is good enough.
Not exactly a mud tyre but I've never used a 29er mud tyre and I ride in fairly sloppy stuff.
Good for your rear wheel. Not so much for a front as it's its just not aggressive enough.
