Hi all, for sale I have this Green Brompton M3L which my other half has been using to commute on for the last 2 years. It's done her proud but she no longer needs to commute that far so that's why it's up for sale.
The bike is in fair/good working condition and I've added/repaired parts along the way, but this will need quite a bit of love (servicing, parts replacements etc) to get it back to its full potential. A great project to work on if you've got the time and energy (which I don't)!
The Good:
Frame is in excellent condition, no dents or dings, and all the hinges work smoothly.
Recent basic service at Hub Velo.
New rear frame clip.
New tyres (Schwalbe Marathon Plus).
New rear derailleur.
Drive train generally in good shape.
The Bad:
Gears, although recently serviced, are still stiff when changing from 2-3.
Mudguards have seen better days (see pics).
Brakes are squeaky and a bit 'mushy', could do with a service although still working.
Some of the frame holders are a bit loose, so when it's folded it sometimes doesn't stay folded.
Folding pedal is seized, needs replacing.
Any questions or if you want to come view it just let me know.
£375 ono, which I think is a fair price for a working Brompton.
Don't worry about formatting, just type in the text and we'll take care of making sense of it. We will auto-convert links, and if you put asterisks around words we will make them bold.
Tips:
Create headers by underlining text with ==== or ----
To *italicise* text put one asterisk each side of the word
To **bold** text put two asterisks each side of the word
Embed images by entering: ![](https://www.google.co.uk/images/srpr/logo4w.png) That's the hard one: exclamation, square brackets and then the URL to the image in brackets.
* Create lists by starting lines with asterisks
1. Create numbered lists by starting lines with a number and a dot

For syntax highlighting, surround the code block with three backticks:

Just like Github, a blank line must precede a code block.
